Anywho, yep, I've drawn so much on paper, that I think that that's the best way for me to sketch. A tablet is great and all...but...I've got to see where my pencil is being placed at, not with that tiny cursor on the screen... >_<
Aside from that, it hurts my eyes whenever I draw so long while staring at the monitor screen. Although, CGing it is the best choice with the tablet since messing up can be undone with...uh...undo...where as coloring on that same paper means you might have to throw that perfectly linearted sketch to the trash...
Also, I've looked in a few How to Draw Manga guides, and I've been using their stick figure outline tricks. It's been working for a little while...but...I can't quite get it to work again... =_=
I was so frustrated with losing those techniques that I thought that...maybe drawing something simpler would be easier on my noggin. So, I sketched chibis..! Yep...little chibis. Right there on the corner of the paper. Since it usually looks nice and cute 95% of the time, I just stare at that for my little guide while I draw the unchibitized versions of that character. Right now, it's working great for me..! I wonder how long until that stops working...
But yeah...new journal entry, yay...Hope I didn't waste too much of your time with my blah blah blah. |D
